🤝 What this means

UseSounds takes part in affiliate programs. When you click certain links on this site and then sign up for or buy something, we may receive a commission from that company. You pay exactly the same price as you would going there directly — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and with EU consumer-protection rules on commercial communication.

🏷️ How affiliate links are labelled

We don't hide them. Every affiliate link on UseSounds:

• sits inside a block visually separated from the free content;
• carries a visible “affiliate link” mention right underneath;
• is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" in the HTML, as Google requires;
• opens in a new tab, so you never lose the sound you were looking for.

🎧 Current partners

We only partner with tools we would recommend anyway to a video creator — music libraries, editing software and creator hardware. If a product stops being good, the link comes down.

💜 Why we do it

UseSounds is free, has no paywall and no forced sign-up. Hosting hundreds of audio files and serving every download still costs real money. Affiliate commissions — along with direct support — are what keeps the library free for everyone else.

What affiliate money does not buy: placement in the library, a “Trending” badge, or a better ranking on any page. The sounds are ranked by what people actually play and download, full stop.
